This site mainly focuses Race events, and Racer or any member can share their race details with Forum. In this project we have done many manual coding changes in standard phpBB and Gallery2 application to integrate Forum, Photo gallery and Joomla according to our requirements.

The following functionalities are used in this project.

1. Many pages done using Joomla Content Management System.

2. Using Joomla Control Panel we can easily update the page.

3. Integration of Forum and Photo Gallery by manually.

4. Using Ajax concept to display calendar events in front page.

5. Embedded other site into this site.

6. Forum member only have rights to add, edit Race and Racer.

We designed this index page using Joomla which is widely used CMS (Content Management System). This front page can easily updated/changed using Admin control panel of Joomla. Similar to this one we have created many Sections with multiple Categories and Articles.

The Event List in above screen shot displays list of events. We display this events using Ajax concept. And also this Event List displays mostly closed events in top.

The forum page is designed using phpBB2 forum. Anyone can new member and share their experience with this forum. It has group of categories. User posts their comment in various categories. We integrate this forum into Gallery section. ie , forum member can add new album and edit album and post comment in Gallery section.

By Default it shows all album added by Gallery Admin. If anyone wants to add their album with this gallery they must be logged into forum. Once after logged into forum they can add album. This forum and photo gallery integration is oneway, ie forum member only can add album in photo gallery. We have done this integration by manually.

The calendar section shows current month. You can able to go next, previous month. This calendar shows event in particular date. If you clicked the particular event in particular date, it will go to a details page in that event. This calendar is done by tools phpBB2.

We designed this page using Joomla Content Management System. This menu has many submenu named Application , Sponsors and Officers. This Application menu also has three submenus named Sign up online, Pay dues and Membership Form. Among them Sponsors and Officers submenu are designed by Joomla CMS.

It has three sub menus Find Race, Member Results and Map my Run. When you click submenu Find Race it shows the page with 'Look Up Race Results' message. Once you typed race name and search the next page shows the list of race results. And also that page shows two links Add new Race and Edit Race History. Forum member only can add new race and edit existing race history. Otherwise it shows message "please logged into forum to add new Racer."

The second link Member Results will show the page with ‘Member Race History’. If you entered Racer name it will show you, list of Race and Racer details. And also this page has two more links below, Add new racer and Edit Racer History. Here also forum member only can add or edit new racer.

The link Map my Run, once clicks this link it loaded the mapmyrun.com site with this page using frame. We embedded this site with soundshorerun.com site.

It has many submenus, Running, Cycling, Swimming and Miscellaneous. Under running it has five submenus.
